Today an amazing new festival was announced: Rhiannon Giddens' Biscuits & Banjos! The Durham, NC performances will include the much-awaited reunion of the OG lineup of the Carolina Chocolate Drops, their first show since 2014; solo performances from Giddens, Dom Flemons, and their erstwhile compatriot Leyla McCalla; the legendary blues player Taj Mahal; virtuoso bassist Christian McBride; gospel powerhouses The Legendary Ingramettes; country star Rissi Palmer, and many, many more. Biscuits & Banjos will be held from April 25 - 27, 2025. The NC Department of Natural and Cultural Resources is proud to be a sponsor, and will be there at the fest as a collaborator.
