Chances are you’ve seen Hatch Show Print music posters without knowing their proper name – the Nashville letterpress poster and design shop has been in operation since 1879, and produced promotional designs for countless singers and players both legendary and unsung, as well as carnivals, circuses, and vaudeville and minstrel shows. And at Blowing Rock Art & History Museum on this coming Saturday, April 12th, HATCH SHOW PRINT: EVERY PICTURE TELLS A STORY will exhibit some posters, blocks and memorabilia from this storied graphic design outfit. Celene Aubry, Director and Print Shop Manager at Hatch Show Print, will be accompanying the exhibition with a talk.
