This weekend’s the Biscuits & Banjos festival (@biscuitsandbanjosfest) in Durham, and The Department of Natural and Cultural Resources airstream will be stationed in the Pinhook parking lot providing a slew of free activities and activations! Make sure to come say hello and enjoy a variety of fun, educational attractions, including: the chance to decorate a 10-foot-tall community mural featuring a working banjo, listen to folklorist and public historian Michelle Lanier read from her children’s book NC A-Z, help plant flower beds with museum curator Earl Ijames, and take away a number of free goodies.
