With a lovely harbor facing the Pasquotank River, Elizabeth City, near the northeastern tip of North Carolina, exudes calming vibes and scenic sights. While famous for its connections to moonshining and the Wright Brothers' first flights in nearby Kill Devil Hills, Elizabeth City has a rich musical heritage, contributing to jazz history and offering plenty of spots to catch live music.
